Top O' the Mornin'!

Julia O'Milani participated in the Irish Dance Exhibit at her school (St. Christina's) on St. Patrick's Day!! After several months of Irish lessons she and the many other girls at her school put on a stellar performance! The dressed in green, they kicked up their heals, they kept their arms straight and stiff....

Julia Ingram, Julia O'Milani and Isabella H. were in the same group! Here they are ready to perform!

Dancing their little hearts out!

Olivia, the Irish Dance Champ of Great Britain also performed for the school!

The girls were IN AWE of Olivia!! (Julia O'milani will surly follow in Olivia's footsteps!)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DADDY!!!

My daddy's birthday is this week so we (or mommy, nonno, nonna, lala and 20 others) celebrated last night while Marco and I went to Gretchen's with Sherlynn (the babysitter). I hear they had a great time. There was lots of food. WE were lucky because we got to eat the left-overs -- the cupcakes were my favorites!!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!

Ho Ho SNOW!!!

Heading to the Beyers

Our front yard!

Well, it's happened yet again: It's snowed in London!!! Unlike Easter 2008 when it snowed and stopped, it has not let up all day! There are probably 6 inches on the ground. We woke up to a nice dusting (probably a couple of inches) and it's stayed and kept on staying.... It makes us realize that if we lived in Chicago, Albany, or elsewhere where this is the norm that we'd probably not survive (or we'd just be used to it). BUT since we are from sunny California, we aren't quite used to this weather!!!

We did venture outside with our friends the McCarthy's. WE had a great time playing in the Beyer's backyard. BUT we spent our requisite hour plus outside and then came in to de-thaw! It's probably a movie day for the Milani's!!! (Especially since school was canceled!!!)

OUCH!!!!

Well, Marco had a busy morning! Before school he fell out the front door and got a huge shiner!! Mommy and I were standing right there watching the whole thing... he just kind of fell down the stairs. We couldn't tell if he hit the railing or the the corner of the stair! Even Miss Kim (his teacher who has her own 3 boys) said it looked bad. I hope Marco stops falling around. It's not fun for any of us

In all it's glory!

Here's a look at all the purple! (which is actually much better!)

FOOTBALL, FUTBOL, SOCCER...

Marco started his futbol class. Mommy says it's good because he has LOTS of energy. He runs around in circles most of the time but he seems to like it (so does mommy). His buddy Ben is in the class with him! They do all sorts of things with Coach Shona and Coach Chris. They run drills, they dribble and they kick the ball really high in the air.

Mom think Marco might be a mathlete (like me) but daddy says he could, quite possibly, bend it like Beckham!

All he does is run!

The Hols in California!!!

Happy Holidays from California!!!

(nana's tree)

The Milani's have arrived (and we've brought the London rain)!!!

We've been busy since we arrived! We spent a week with nana, where we played with the our cousies, the Fiske's - Freddie, Calvie & Drew; we went to a holiday breakfast, where we saw Santa; and, we made cookies and basically destroyed nana's house! It was fun!!!

All the cousies!

Now we are in the Bay Area with our Nonno and Nonna. We've been busy here too! Yesterday, we went to the new aquarium in Golden Gate Park with our friends the DeVries (Linda, Robbert, Sebastian and Laurence). Unfortunately, we were there with 100,000 other people. Despite the crowds it was fun! After we went to Unkie Paul and Aunt Michelle's for dinner. We had a GREAT time with Alex and JP. Daddy and Nonno had a great time dressing up like someone named Ali G. Mommy thought it was hilarious.

St. Christina's Christmas Shows!!

This week we had our Christmas shows at my school, St. Christina's. Both reception classes did a show. My class was first. Our show was about 3 little mice who snuck into the royal palace. The king and queen were very nice to them and the whole palace was happy. I had a starring role as Mrs. Mop, the head of the cleaning crew! I said my lines very well -- I remembered them!! It was a great success. All the mum's and dad's LOVED it!!! Here are some pictures of our group!

Here we are! I'm Mrs. Mop with the PINK dust mop!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Yesterday was Thanksgiving which they do not celebrate here in London. We had to go to school all day even though it was a holiday back in California. We did have a Thanksgiving dinner though! Our daddy did most of the cooking and it was quite good. We had some friends over: The McCarthy girls - Brenna, Olivia and Amy who are staying with us while their mommy and daddy are away - and Gretchen, Brooke and Ryan Beyer! It was fun! We all ate a lot and played fun games. We have a lot to be thankful for this year!

It's REALLY starting to feel like Christmas now!!

Today, we went to a winter wonderland (or Christmas festival) in Hyde Park!!! We went with the McCarthy's and it was so so SOOOO MUCH FUN!!! They had tons of rides, food and activities!! We loved it. We had lunch, went on some rides, and walked (and ran) around. It was very very very cold. I was as cold as an ice cube, which is very cold. Marco even asked for his "globes" (aka, gloves). We were all so cold that we thought it would snow! In fact, it's supposed to snow in London this weekend!!! I hope it does!!!
